Weight loss is hard. I've been on and off various programs for most of my adult life. What I've found to be differentiating and valuable about EMP 180 is this program combined with this staff. There is someone who is a subject matter specialist in anything you may need. Nutrition, Wellness, Fitness, Health, Food Science, etc. So you have the accountability of weighing in / meeting with someone each visit - but you don't run the risk of not having a good fit, right background for you. You get the benefit of the entire well trained team. The EMP 180 program has been the perfect balance of structure, accountability, support and flexibility for me.

Also, a lot of the daily food is provided to you. However, the team at EMP 180 are constantly open to tweaking it to work for me/my life/my family/my challenges. That has been a big differentiator for me with sticking with the program (now for close to 6 months).

I have never been keen on diet food, so I was skeptical when I learned I needed to eat their special diet food in the beginning. However, I signed up for 7 weeks and figured I could do anything for 7 weeks. Then I started watching the weight falling off of me. Then I played with ingredients until I found or developed recipes that were healthy and delicious. Next thing I knew, I was no longer craving sugar. By the time I reached my goal, I had no cravings at all. My diet had balanced out. I was consuming enough protein (I had to learn the importance of protein in the diet to maintain muscle) and I wasn't crazy hungry either. I've been on maintenance now for three full months and I can't believe how great I feel and how happy I am with my new body. Now, I need to go drink more water.

I think the program is simple and straight forward. It does require some discipline and like everything else, you get out of it what you put into it.

The food is pretty decent simple to prepare. Doing just a little meal prep really helps.

The staff is very friendly, helpful and responds very quickly to questions, comments etc.

I'm down 20lbs in 6 weeks. Right on the plan that EMP outlined for me.
