Soooo good! This is the real deal Mexican. A savory experience that everyone should try. Seriously!

Never been here before today. Greeted as soon as I walked in the door. Very cheerful, "Hola". Line serve pick items you want. And explained what each were and size of plate. Menu changes daily. Good assortment of drink options. All staff very friendly and helpful. Decor nicely done. Very clean. Really enjoyed my food. While leaving again staff, gave, " Bye thanks for coming. Hope to see you again." And they will.

One of my favorite spots in town! Always great food and service. 10/10 recommend.

Honestly the best best best best Mexican in RVA. Not your usual texmex or a taqueria. You won’t find tacos here BUT you’ll find guisos which are delicious stews simmered in savory sauces. There’s a rotating menu that changes daily and a special every day. Get a grande meal and you’ll get rice, beans, and two guisos of your choice. Favorites are bistec con nopales and pork ribs (forgot the Spanish name) Portions are generous and the food is so good that I’ll drive here whenever I crave it even if it means 25 mins of driving. I live in the city proper and I’ll NEVER drive to short pump or anywhere else in RVA for food because the city has better dining in general so that says a lot lol. Also the family that runs this place are so sweet. They did great making a restaurant with good food and modern ways to serve the needs of people.
