Publix Pharmacy at Rivercrest Commons Shopping Center

The pharmacy is usually wonderful to my boys and I. Unfortunately they know me by name. The Cashiers are usually kind. But when I need something from a manager or a worker when I'm usually in the back of the store I usually get ignored. Only one time did I get help getting cereal from way back on the the bottom shelf.

99.9 percent of the staff at this Publix pharmacy are very pleasant and polite- I’ve only once encountered a less than friendly pharmacy employee, and haven’t seen her again since. The hours are very reasonable for a supermarket pharmacy, and the drive-up is very convenient. A time or two they’ve been out of stock on a medication I needed, but I later found out that several other local pharmacies were also out due to a manufacturing problem. Otherwise, they have always had what I needed and can usually have it ready quickly.
Although I have insurance, I have noticed that a couple of my medications were cheaper through Publix than at a nearby chain pharmacy (that starts with a W) which was surprising to me as I had expected Publix to have cost more. So overall, I’m very happy with this location and will continue to use them as long as my specific Humana policy continues to includes Publix pharmacies. My prescription insurance policy is no longer working with Walgreens, which is why I initially switched, but it’s actually worked out much better anyway as it’s much easier to get in/out of this shopping center in comparison to the busy intersection where the local Walgreens is located.

Excellent pharmacy staff! Everyone is very courteous. They have always filled my prescriptions quickly and usually have my medication in stock and ready within an hour or two.

The pharmacists are always readily available to answer questions and the pharmacy techs are kind, courteous and happy to help. I switched to this pharmacy from Walgreens and the quality of care at Publix puts Walgreens to shame! I highly recommend this pharmacy, I've been nothing but happy since transferring.
