Brown Summit is an absolutely awesome school! The teachers all seem to be very nice, and the work is challenging, but not too hard. It’s great for kids who are ahead in academics. There is quite a bit of work/projects, but you have to learn to pace yourself. Even though it’s a small school, we have field trips, intramural sports teams, and teams such as the Battle Of Books and Quiz Bowl. We do not have any official sports teams, but you are welcome to try out for your home school’s team, or the middle school you would be going to. Latin is very unique, and everyone there just seems like a family. It truly is the best middle school, in my opinion.

the new principal is AMAZING, and so are the teachers. they really challenge us. i mean, i was nervous about coming to a nerd school in the middle of nowhere, but i fit right in! everybody that goes there is nice, and there is no bullying. my favorite part: lunch! they have a 100 sanitation rate. then for the foreign language class, we have latin, and the teacher is really fun. we have lots of competition between grades, like for the out of the garden project, which ever grade gets the most money earned, and cans , gets the spirit stick. the spirit stick is a stick we all compete for. whichever grade gets the spirit stick the most times, gets an all day picnic. i really love it here. only in a nerd school in the middle of nowhere, can you have as much fun as we do.
