Holiday Inn Express & Suites Corpus Christi-N Padre Island

Nice place to stay. After Covid, now tourist have started visiting Corpus Christi and occupancy is full. Hotel serves Breakfast in a packet because no sitting arrangements are avlble as a precautionary measures but U will get so many items. Ample parking. Nice staff and cooperative. It is chain of Hotels and carry its brand images.

Nice enough hotel. Clean and quiet. Very close to the beach. GPS takes you to the Holiday Inn across the street that is closed. We arrived when it was dark and there was no lighted sign so we circled the block a few times until we looked closely at the building and figured out that it was the Holiday Inn Express. Only complaint I would say is the bath tub has a sloped bottom running the length of the tub (both sides) so if you don't stand exactly in the center you can easily lose your footing. It happened to me and luckily I caught myself before falling all the way down.

The Google reviews are based on the old location of the Holiday Inn Express. The old Holiday Inn express is under renovation and will open as Holiday Inn later in 2021.

When you arrive at the Holiday Inn, turn around and go right.
The Holiday Inn Express is not on the beach but a short walk from the beach.

Just like in any service-related industry, the people often make the difference between success and failure. This hotel has great people working for it. For example, due to a change in plans, my family and I booked a room late on a busy weekend and Isabel did a terrific job helping us get checked in despite being inundated with the requests of other guests. Also, the next day, Jeremy helped my daughters print a school assignment that they needed to assist their studies while we traveled, and he even made sure I had some extra pods for my morning coffee - which, quite frankly, may have been his most important display of service!

Lastly, I'd be remiss if I didn't acknowledge the breakfast worker, whose name eludes me, but he was very gracious and accommodating as well.

In sum, our weekend at Holiday Inn Express was very comfortable, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was outstanding. Kudos to this team and it's management.
