Body Image Therapy Center

This is an amazing treatment center. I was treated here for an eating disorder and only have positive things to say about it! My family and I also went through extensive family therapy here and they too loved the experience. I could not have gotten better without this center and the family therapy they offer here helped tremendously. I would 100% recommend The Body Image Therapy Center to anyone seeking help for an eating disorder!

The Body Image Therapy Center in Columbia was the right fit for our daughter after her time in inpatient therapy.
It was a good transition into establishing some normalcy after being in the hospital. We found the parent groups extremely helpful and allowed us to realize we were not alone. We also liked how parents were included with the meal time once/week. Please seek help if you even suspect an eating disorder in a loved one. The earlier the treatment, the better chance of long term recovery.

I went to the body image Therapy Center because I was having difficulties with my weight. I soon came to realize with the help of the fabulous staff that I suffer from an eating disorder. With the expert counseling, nutrition guidance, and the wonderful support I received, I can now say I am working my recovery from binge eating disorder. There are many other facets of this facility. I would recommend them highly for any issue someone may need help with.

I came to the body image therapy center over 5 years ago and had a wonderful experience learning more about myself, my disorder, and my recovery. I unfortunately had to stop treatment a few years after I started but I will always remember my time at the BITC. Andrew has a heart of gold and has always been a mentor in my life, while I was there and even after I left.
