Jonathan Kramer, PhD / Psychologist

One word comes to mind as I reflect on the results my wife and I had with Dr. Kramer, "revolutionary" That's a big statement of course, but that's exactly what we experienced in our endeavor to make improvements to our relationship.
We couldn't be happier with the improvements we've experienced and they have stuck with us, and were achieved in a very short order to boot.
I give a five star rating without hesitation.

Spoiler Alert: The following is a *10* Star Review, (5 stars each awarded from both me and my husband), for Jonathan Kramer, PhD, who is, without question, the “Top Gun” when it comes to precisely targeting and effectively resolving relationship issues. Even tough ones.

With experience, knowledge, determination and caring, Jon has a brilliantly engaging method he employs, sometimes with humor, for drilling to the core of marital problems resulting from the frustration, aggravation and disappointment that strangle the life and love out of a relationship on a daily basis.

We had tried many months of couples counseling before with other therapists, to no avail. Recurring issues continued to plague us. We know other friends/couples who have had similar experiences and agree that finding a psychologist with the ability to effectively facilitate meaningful change in a relationship is difficult at best, and finding the best, nearly impossible. This was to be our final make-it-or-break-it deal, since we had reached a stage where most conversations between us seemed to devolve into virtual, verbal combat. To our relief, in our first session with Jon, we could feel an air of change emerge between us as ‘understanding’ began to creep in. Following our second session, and for the first time in many years, my husband of 24 years and I found ourselves walking arm and arm to our car after leaving Jon’s office, a sign of affection that for us, sadly had disappeared many moons ago.

The tools he provided me for navigating an emotionally challenging upcoming event were priceless. Jon has all the qualities that I look for in a counselor: objectivity, empathy, patience, attentiveness, and intelligence. He has helped me tremendously with a variety of issues: grief, anxiety, career enjoyment and advancement, communication, and intimate relationship issues.
