    Brenda has been my barber for 34 years and I am a lifelong client, despite having not lived in the area since 2003. I've lived in Lansing, Bowling Green (OH), and now in Ann Arbor. There isn't a distance too great for an appointment with Brenda. She remembers details about her clients and goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcome and appreciated. Pre-pandemic, the barbershop was a comfortable, jovial, environment suitable for adults and children.

    During the pandemic, Brenda has followed the COVID-19 guidelines of appointment only services, maintaining more than 6 feet between active chairs, limiting capacity, providing face masks and hand sanitizer, and disinfecting surfaces regularly. Even before the pandemic, Brenda maintained a very clean barbershop. Additionally, Brenda provides money for the parking meters, which is an added benefit for a Mack Avenue business.

    If you are looking for a barber, look no further than the Family Barbershop. It is clean, safe, and professional. You will become a lifelong client like me.

    I was in there 2 weeks ago for the model. They did a whole grey coverage and I am constantly getting compliments. I love the color and everyone that worked on my hair. I wish I could remember the lady's name
