I had an amazing tour of the facility with Vanessa. The Esplanade is a beautiful facility with great service. The residents seemed happy and were smiling. All together it seemed like a wonderful place.

The Esplanade of Woodmere has given my dad a new lease on life. From the immaculate yet warm ambiance, to the professional staff who have that magic combination of expertise and compassion, I could not have asked for a more welcoming environment for him. I especially love the planned activities which provide socialization and serve a theraputic purpose as well. Thank you for all you do!

Absolutely beautiful, warm, and loving assisted living environment. There entire staff was warm and engaging. The director, Vanessa, patiently guided my family and I through their splendid community, and communicated their unique approach. During my tour she was ready, willing, and able to answer any questions we raised about our Father's care. She also provided insight into other areas that will better prepare us for transition as we plan to join the community at Esplanade of Woodmere.

My Dad is one of the smartest people I have ever known. Up until April 2021 he had a fantastic memory, not just for someone who is 95 years old. Unfortunately, Dad fell, hit his head and suffered a traumatic brain injury and his memory was severely impaired. The staff, not to mention the facilities, at the Esplanade is fantastic - from the top down. It is rare to find a facility where everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, is caring, compassionate, patient and supportive. My Dad is not the only beneficiary of all the great things the Esplanade has to offer, the care, concern and support extends to our entire family and we are so grateful.

I am a professional senior living placement specialist. I've been in almost every Assisted and Memory Care community on Long Island. The Esplanade has a wonderful approach to care for people with dementia. They focus on very small groups, personal interaction, and allowing the person with dementia the dignity and freedom to create their own "good days". The Esplanade very appropriately borrows from the Montessori Method, giving as much individuality and freedom to each resident. I like the plan for caring put forward by The Esplanade!
