Courses Restaurant

Courses is not your run of the mill restaurant, it's student run which makes it exceptionally unique. The restaurant sits high up in the sky on the 13th floor or penthouse of the old Stouffer Hotel, now the home of Ivy Tech Community College. Here fine dining is met by college courses for their hospitality department. Classical cuisine/international cuisine courses create the food led by an instructor, a customer service class takes care of front of house needs, while a beverage management programs gives students behind the bar table & cocktail creation experience. The atmosphere is gorgeous. Not to mention the breathtaking view of downtown Indianapolis. The prices are great, too - $25 in the evening for three courses. It is always fun engaging with the students as well. The hours are limited as they run around class times, but a night out worth having. Put it on your to-do list. I'll be back again!!

Wow what a great find. The food was fabulous and well presented by the students of Ivy tech. Excellent quality food and beautifully prepared. The duck rillette was really tasty.

The bread basket contained the highlight of the evening for me. A wonderful hazelnut and fig bread served with awesome herby garlic butter. It is not often the bread is the star turn especially alongside all the other tasty treats. The chef was kind and sent us home with a loaf to enjoy later.

Love to try new cuisines here. Pleasant atmosphere and great view of city skyline.

I loved everything about this place, it was delicious food, a lovely ambience, and the staff, though learning, did a wonderful job taking care of us, and fed us well. I'll be back!

Food and service were great! Went on New Year's Eve. Made reservations, had to wait for a little but it was so worth it. Definitely going back.
