Amazing staff! Love that they are open on Saturdays! They saved my dogs life and all things considered and how long he had to stay in their care the price was waaay lower than I had expected.

I don’t write too many reviews but I felt it necessary to let others know just how amazing this animal hospital is. We were out of town on vacation when something happened to our pup. We drove an hour into Norfolk the night before to see an emergency vet that wanted thousands of dollars for an initial deposit just to start diagnostics. We were in shock as this didn’t even cover cost of any treatment. It was such an overwhelming upsetting night. We left them and got home at 3 am, paid over $300 with no answers and just pain medicine. The next morning we called Cape Charles Animal Hospital and they got us in right away that morning. Honestly I haven’t had service like this anywhere in a long time. Even our primary vet makes us park curbside and we still can’t go in bc of COVID. Not this place. Haley took us back and was so kind and understanding. Dr. Higgins did X-rays immediately. I waited minutes compared to hours at the emergency vet. We had answers in less than 30 min and the cost was so minimal compared to what we paid the night before. If I lived closer I would drive over an hour to have Dr. Higgins be our primary vet. The people of Cape Charles are very lucky to have him and his staff. Thank you again for your wonderful service.

Very good animal hospital!! They helped me out big time!! My 13 year old black lab had cancer and my usual vet was so fast to jump right to having him euthanized but Dr. Higgens took time to talk to us and make sure there were no other options!! Cape Charles is my home town, my mother suggested them for me!! Thank you Cape Charles Animal Hospital!!
