Cedar Heights AFH

My mom has been living at Cedar Heights for over a year and a half. I have nothing negative to say about this beautiful AFH. It is very clean and all of the residents seem to be happy. The owner is very good at communicating and has sent photos of holiday gatherings and birthday celebrations over the past year. I highly recommend the fantastic AFH.

I am honored to express my gratitude and praise for the staff and facility at Cedar Heights Adult Family Home. Finding this home for my mother, after a unexpected stay in a rehab facility, was a God sent gift. The staff are so caring and careful. Emanuel, the owner, is up to date with every need and requirement to keep the staff and residents safe. It is a great comfort to know that someone is watching over her 24 hours a day and that she is one of six residents and not one of dozens. The home always looks clean, safe and well cared for. The residents have all looked well dressed and comfortable on the few occasions I have been able to visit. The pictures of the holiday meals made me wish I could have joined them.

Also, it was a great relief to hear that Mom was able to return to her room at Cedar Heights immediately after a hip replacement surgery. The staff was able to give her all the care she needed for recovery. I have had telephone updates from visiting PT and RN caregivers and they both said that "the staff is doing an amazing job with her rehabilitation and you should feel blessed to have her in this outstanding facility." What a great thing to hear!

My Mother after being in an Assisted living facility for 7 years had physical needs that the facility were unable to provide. So we began the process in finding a good fit for Mom. We were able to visit a number of facilities even in the Covid times we are in. All of the facilities offered similar ammenities, but Cedar Heights AFH provided superior staffing , coupled with a home like, friendly and loving environment.
The care provided is very personal, my Mom's individual needs are being ministered too much to our satisfaction. Emmanuel and his family are very attentive to family concerns and communicate with us very well.
We look forward to future times when Covid is behind us and we will be able to enjoy all of the ammenities the home has to offer. The setting is very peaceful and set in the Cedars of the Notrthwest.
Mom is enjoying the home, her housemates, the homemade meals and all of the staff. Our family is at peace knowing all is well.💖

We were fortunate to find a room at Cedar Heights AFH for our mother after a fall in 2018. The caregivers at Cedar Heights provided a warm, caring environment for mom. My wife and I toured several adult family homes when searching for a place for mom, Cedar Heights was the cleanest, warmest and most normal family environment; it felt like our house, not a “facility”. While at Cedar Heights the caregivers identified the stroke our mom was experiencing and got medical attention immediately; and provided critical post stroke care attentively. The residents formed their community within the AFH providing a social environment to interact with.

I highly recommend Cedar Heights Adult Family Home for any family trying to find a comfortable, caring and experienced place for their loved one.

My 91 year old mom has been at Cedar Heights AFH for 2 1/2 years. The workers are always so sweet to my mom and she is VERY well taken care of. The ratio of workers to residents is amazing! The most residents they will take is 6 and there is ALWAYS at least 2 staff at the house 24 hours a day. The owner, Emmanuel, is always doing updates on the house or yard to make it better and it is a very nice house with nice comfortable furniture for the residents. My mom especially likes the recliner couches! The food is very good and the staff makes holidays and birthday extra special with even more amazing food and treats along with balloons and other things. I receive pictures of my mom from Emmanuel and he is on top of all the details of her care and providers. I highly recommend this place!
