I have never had 'issues' with the staff. (... the negative reviews all seem to be office staff related)

My experience with the office staff was a sigh of relief.... I called 4 other local GI doctors attempting to find one with an appointment open fairly quickly and frustrated as all appointments were 3 weeks out or longer With no sympathy from other offices when I explained the pain my husband is experiencing...
When I called Dr. Sanders office the office rep Julie was VERY VERY GOOD, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful/nice.
I am not sure why the reviews I read state the office personnel were so terrible, this was not my experience at all.
Julie took all of the info I gave and found a way to get my husband seen very quickly in under a week after hearing the situation with his pain— and even mentioned she may have a cancellation coming up sooner in 2 days and would call me if my husband could be seen in that spot. Great experience!
I will update once we see the doc and have the procedure for a real review and not complaints for random irrelevant issues. (I.e. complaint over a request for fees from a hospital which is not something the Dr office would have access to or because they called several times for insurance when that info should have been given to the office or updated much sooner and is the patient responsibility not the dr office, don’t answer your phone if you are in important meetings or pull your card out of your wallet? ...etc)

Dr. Sanders provided service for me back in November of '17 and I was thrilled. Direct and to the point but still had empathy for me as a patient. Exceeded all expectations. We (my wife and I) are scheduling a procedure for her in the next month or so. If not satisfied would never consider using his services a second time.
