God's word definitely taught and Pastor White love the people of God. Always patience, tentative and cheerful

I love my church! I love Pastor Turner! Sermons are always right on time. I value being a member here because my pastor is accessible. He is always available for me to shake his hand after service and if ever I need to have a meeting with him, he is available. I grew up knowing him from when he preached for youth revival at Simpson Road Baptist Church every summer. After I found out that he was a pastor in Atlanta, I had to join. As a millenial, it can be difficult to find the right place of worship. I am learning to be more attentive and listen as well as live the Lord's way after hearing Pastor Turner's sermons. If his ministry speaks to you, follow. Especially when everything lines up with God's word, the Holy Bible.

This is a great place to worship. I've been searching for a church home and I believe that I found it. I've never felt so at home at a church before. As son as I entered the doors I was welcomed with open arms and friendly faces. Pastor Turner is awesome and it was an absolute pleasure to meet him today. I'm thankful to God for putting it on my heart to enter the doors of Mount Vernon Baptist Church and I'm looking forward to next Sunday's service.
