For those who remember the old Neldam's Bakery, this is the same place, same location, same great service. Fresh pastries, cakes, pies and made to order items. The chocolate dream cake is STILL the best!

People are so nice and helpful. Ordered a cake for my son's first birthday, prices are fair. Cant wait for the cake! I'm sure they'll do a good job considering the number of people who comes in everyday. Will update and post photos 🙂

Yum!!!! A Taste of Denmark is an Oakland institution! They have such nice baked goods. They also have holiday seasonal baked goods like an Easter treat that is a must have, as well as different treats for all of the holidays. Their birthday cakes are really beautiful, and there is no crisco 'buttercream' it's the real deal, buttercream made from BUTTER frosting. A Taste of Denmark is a great treat, and you can sit at a clean table and have a coffee and something sweet and wonderful. I highly recommend! Their Sticky Buns are the BOMB! YUMO!!!
