Tim Tate LPC

Tim Tate has been and continues to be a lifeline that has helped get me through so much. Hurricane Harvey was devastating- we lost our home & belongings, my husband lost all his work equipment, my city office was destroyed & more. Mr. Tate helped me develope skills to cope. Then my daughter died by suicide. Again he was there to help me work through and continue on in life. I am able to talk and figure out how I can make the most of my life going forward. I strongly recommend Tim Tate for anyone with any issue. He is an awesome therapist & awesome person.

Tim gives you helpful and concrete things to do. Having these tools that I am responsible for and that gave me results restored my faith in myself and gave me tools to cope with life's stressors from the very first session. He has a holistic approach considering the mind, body, and spirit.

I worked with Tim during a very difficult time in my life ... I was struggling with depression and anxiety and with the illness and death of my Dad and some other really rough circumstances! It was not the first time I had a counselor so I was very nervous because counseling had not helped me much previously! The only reason I was willing to go talk to Tim was because I had previously met him in a 5 week class out in the community and I knew he was a kind and respectful! The very first session with Tim, I learned tools that I had never heard of and I left his office with a fresh perspective and lots to practice. All practical and immediately helpful ideas. Being in my 50s .... it took me awhile to change my way of thinking and behaving .... but Tim was patient and so helpful and respectful thru it all. I may never need a counselor again, because Tim taught me how to become my own therapist. It has been about a year since I had my last session, but the tools I learned from Tim, are still serving me SO WELL. I continue to be amazed that I can feel as happy as I now do. I have solved issues in my life that had been "problems" since childhood. I highly recommend Tim - he is compassionate and patient and very helpful. If you try what he recommends, you can amaze yourself with the positive changes you can make in your life. No one can do it for you or me but if you're looking for an excellent guide and someone who will show you how to manage your depression and/or anxiety -- you can't go wrong with Tim as your counselor.

I’ve been seeing Tim for over a year now and I can’t go a month without seeing him. He’s helped me in so many ways . He’s an awesome counselor . I will continues to see him and give his card out to everyone I know!
