Highlander School

As a Highlander graduate and parent, I can't say enough good things about this school! Highlander serves three-year-olds through sixth graders. The coursework is challenging, and the teachers spend time working with each individual child. The reading lists are full of classic, inspiring works, and Christian values, patriotism, and manners are reinforced throughout the school day. The children study language arts, literature, social studies, math, science, French, art, and music, plus P.E. and recess every day. I strongly encourage anyone wanting a warm, loving environment, a challenging curriculum, and an affordable private school education to check out Highlander School.

Really obsessed with this school. I cannot even describe how much I love it. Fast-paced learning for smart creative kids that are bored in public schools. Down-to-earth families, gorgeous large green space behind school, amazing experienced teachers that love what they do and do it with excellence. Small enough that you can know every one at the school - a truly special place - cannot believe more people have not discovered this gem in Lake Highlands.
