    I'm not going to pretend like this is the most pleasant place to visit. The staff are curt and do act as if you're an inconvenience to them. They get gruff when you ask questions. However, the fact that we have a place to take hazardous waste FOR FREE is huge. Some cities charge for this service. I've found that as long as you read on their website and follow directions, you never have any issues. We never get turned away with any of our items and we try to be as polite and efficient as possible when we do go.

    That said though, the staff could try to be a little less unpleasant with people.

    I stopped by today and do agree they are rude but did help. The pamphlet they gave me did say they close 15 mins early and will close early if full. But we are trying to do the right thing so wouldn't mind them working with us a little more. Or maybe the city needs to come up with a better recycling system. Just my opinion.

    Just dropped off old car batteries, paint, oil, monitors and other auto products. They were friendly and efficient! Thanks for the service to keep these products out of the landfill and water.
