I grew up a church musician on keyboard playing by ear, however, had no clue of any terminology nor theory. Avalon School of Music hooked me up with pro jazz theory where I learned modes and my confidence soared and I better understood what I was playing and where I could go. When I’m not busy I do go back to get a tune up and learn more at my own pace!

The school has a wonderful group of teachers and a very dynamic director. The atmosphere is really pleasant.
