Captain Jim provided a first class Chesapeake Bay boat ride for my wife and me today. The boat itself was pristine. The Captain and crew were warm and welcoming; informative but not too chatty. We had a smooth, comfortable, and safe ride taking in the beautiful sites of the Bay. We give Kent Island Boat Charters our highest recommendations!!

Spending 4 hrs. with Captain Jim and Kent Island Boat Charters was a great way to celebrate my 25th wedding anniversary!! Captain Jim did everything he could in providing my wife and I with plenty of great memories:-) His knowledge of the Chesapeake and professionalism was outstanding as he made us feel like it was "our" boat for the entire 4 hour cruise. The non-alcoholic drinks, lunch and available snacks were great to have offered on our private voyage! The boat was spotless and Capt. Jim provided us with the most comfortable ride considering the water conditions. Safety is #1 in his book and I felt extremely safe to have him take us out for the day. We had guests coming to visit us on Kent Island for the weekend and we really wanted them to experience the Chesapeake Bay, which they had never visited. We also wanted them to see downtown Annapolis, but there was no way we were going to cross the bridge on a weekend! So, I checked out the many charter offerings and excursion boats and settled on Kent Island Boat Charters. Bingo! Perfect! Captain Jim and first mate Jen gave us exactly what we were looking for. We crossed the bay, explored Annapolis, right into the center of town, between yachts and dockside bars and restaurants full of happy hour revelers. We had the best view in town! Then we explored a few of the creeks north of town, and crossed back over, under the Bay Bridge. Spectacular. We saw a lot on our perfect 2 hour trip. Thanks, Jim and Jenn!

My family and I booked on Father’s Day. This was by far the BEST experience we’ve had. My husband enjoyed and so did the kids. I would recommend them a million times. I can’t wait to book again. Thank you so much for the beautiful experience. We truly appreciate it 😊

I highly recommend this husband and wife duo - they were amazing! They truly rolled out the red carpet for my friend’s 40th birthday. They checked on us frequently, offering snacks on both the outbound and return excursions! The boat ride was steady (whenever we hit a few waves harder than expected, you could feel the captain ease off the gas to level us). Also, the boat was immaculate; equipped with ample seating, a restroom on the lower deck and a quality sound system (which they allowed us to connect with to play our own music). The captain even poured champagne for us! Overall, it was an awesome experience and I look forward to booking with Kent Island Boat Charters for near future events!
