I am an older student who began cello lessons with Gillian 4 years ago. She helped me to lay a solid foundation in my playing and was consistently encouraging and challenging. Her love of the cello and teaching was contagious. The only reason I am no longer studying with her is she moved to the Denver area. Sad news for me, good news for Denver!

Gill is a very positive teacher; she always said what she liked about my daughter’s playing while also giving suggestions for improvement. I loved hearing a piece that my daughter had been playing all week become clean and polished during a lesson.
