Delicious southern cooking! The roll I was given while I waited for my food was warm and delicious, the country fried steak was amazing with the perfect gravy, the fried okra was crispy and fresh, the mac and cheese needed some hot sauce to make it great, but that’s more of a personal taste thing. Even the sweet tea was a perfect blend of sugar and tea. I was also called sweetie pie by a nice lady, and that made me feel right at home! 😁 All in all, a great, tasty experience!

Absolute gem.
This is it. The Southern food I’ve been searching for since moving to Nashville. Went to Puckett’s in Franklin yesterday, and this place puts them to shame. I will be back here soon.

If you grew up eating amazing home cooked meals from your mother or grandmother from fresh garden ingredients and you can't do that anymore. Do not pass GO, do not collect $200, immediately go to Barbara's for a portable vacation & mental trip back in time back home. I LOVE this place and the people who love to work there more. You won't be disappointed!

Always great food. I discovered Barbara's in 2004 and Nothing beats the rolls and fried chicken, poppy-seed chicken, the desserts.

Barbara has made the cover of 'southern living' off her recipes...enough said!

My absolute favorite restaurant in town. Wonderful people and the best Roast Beef and Blackberry Cobbler I've ever had!
