Mr. P'z Bar & Grill

Good atmosphere, friendly staff, & a great menu to choose from. I discovered this place through a promotion for KC Burger Week. I'd say it was a little on the pricier side for the normal menu, but then again everything's going up in price these days. I did not take a picture of the outdoor patio, but they have a great outdoor section as well. Give them a try, I think you will be pleased.

First time trying this place and walked away looking forward to return visits. We had ribs which were great, nice amount of light crisp on the exterior but still juicy and tender underneath, and the French dip which was also very good. The standout for me personally was the brussel sprouts. Crispy, garlicky goodness in a lightly spicy Thai chili sauce with chopped almonds. I so appreciate a bar and grill that makes the effort to have a legit excellent vegetable somewhere as an option.

Service was excellent. Had brief exchanges with a couple of staff in addition to our server and all were friendly and personable. Patio looked inviting for a cooler day than that of our visit. Also, loved the flowers and potted plants outside. That kind of detail really makes a difference to me. You can tell they're aiming for elevated bar fare but have not sacrificed warmth and a neighborhood vibe to that ambition. Thumbs definitely up!

Our waiter was awesome. He attended to us will and was helpful in helping us understand the burger choices of weekly special, build your own burger or 3 regular and popular menu choices. They have an upcoming event taking place on the the parking lot with a live band late in the day July 18. Must make plans to be there too.
