China Wok II

This spot is a hidden gem, at least to me. I've been coming here for take out since I moved to MD 8 years ago and don't recall getting Chinese take out from any other location in my locus. It's not the highest quality Chinese food but it's good for me. They're nestled within an "L" shaped shopping center that is terribly overcrowded, especially having a gas station adjacent to it and parking is rarely possible in front of the shop but I can still park somewhere within about 45 yards. The folks working get right on your order and always within 10 minutes. Call ahead and pick it up! Give it a shot!

I go for the dumplings. I eat them fried and steamed. They are traditional jiaozi (that is the smaller delicious pork and green onion) rather than those thick breaded wanna be baozi monstrosities that have a funky after taste you find at other places. Also their "crispy beef" is very good. I've really been craving some "Xihongshi chao Jidan " made more like a soup served over rice but no one makes it.

Originally saddened that our normal Chinese delivery place in Glen Burnie seemed to become a casualty of COVID-19 since they disappeared off the face of the Earth; but we decided to give Chine Wok II a shot since we were Jonesing for Chinese. What an amazing find! China Wok II is HANDS DOWN the best Chinese we’ve had here. We can’t recommend them enough. The food is fresh and delicious, the delivery pretty quick, and the portions are fantastic versus price. If you’re craving like we were, patronize China Wok II...you will not be disappointed.
