During the negotiations process Derrick gives good advice and keeps it real, without ever being pushy. Derrick is hands down THEE BEST REALTOR in the valley. I had a change in assignment with my company that would require a quick move relocating from California. We had little time to waste. Derrick was fast and responsive when we first reached out to him. However we chose to work with another realtor due to a referral. A few months later and a deal gone bad, Derrick rushed in and saved the day. We literally had 2 weeks to find a home and get our offer accepted. To further deepen the challenge, we were first time buyers, with an FHA approval using down payment assistance. We definitely were not the optimal buyer in this seller's market but Derrick was up for the challenge. Because we were not in the Valley yet we had to rely on Derrick to be our eyes viewing each property. The name of the game was speed. If we saw a house we were interested in, Derrick would get out to see it the very same day. Derrick is super knowledgeable in his field and was able to have productive conversations with listing agents and present us a strong buyers. As time came down to the wire we got our offer accepted and Derrick continued to work just as hard throughout the escrow process. He kept us informed of what was happening and when. He kept in contact with our lender and the escrow officer to make sure the timeline stayed coordinated. When it came time for the inspection he was at the present at the property and spoke in details about the findings. Any paperwork that needed to be signed was immediately given to us for signature throughout the process Even in our final walk through he kept the pressure on to make sure all the T's were crossed and the I's were dotted. If you chose to work with Derrick, there will be no doubt in your mind that he is working for you. He will make sure you get to the finish line when you find the right home.
