Spade and Archer is an incredibly talented design firm. Their designers do an exquisite job of remembering each detail, nook and crannies of properties and make assets out of architectural nuances one would normally overlook. They make each property feel unique, special and curated, far from a show room furniture package. They bring in interesting and unique accent pieces that makes the home memorable to buyers, which is important considering some see may a dozen properties a day. Buyers come through and fall in love with the idea of living in the spaces because of Spade and Archer. They always stay fresh, current, and make the spaces they stage relatable to a vast buyer profile. I have worked with stagers for 15 of my 20 years as a realtor and can attest they are masters of their craft.

Our realtor recommended that we stage our home prior to listing to help the home show at its best. We hired Spade And Archer to do our staging. They made some excellent recommendations after a site visit. The design theme throughout the house was cohesive, comfortable, classy and made the home show much larger than we expected. We remarked that we'd like to live in this house after we saw it staged. The challenge with staging is that you can't compare to selling your home without staging, so it's a little bit of am exercise in faith. In the end, we sold our home well above our expected selling price in only 2 days! We had 16 showings and 6 offers. I own a 1967 vinyl clad home that looked like a Southern California beach house in the middle of Portland. I wanted to paint it but it was too far gone and vinyl is problematic to paint so we did HardiPlank with cedar complements. Picking the color(s) was the hardest thing though. I have used Justin's people with much success before but didn't know if they helped with outside refurbishments. Yes! Chanel came over immediately, assessed the situation including the neighborhood and came back the next day with two possible schemes, one with stained cedar, and the other using natural cedar. She did a schematic on where to paint which color. In 48 hours the paint contractor used the scheme I chose and finished quickly. I love it! And it's already the talk of the neighborhood. If I was going to sell right away, I bet I would make at least $100,000 more than I purchased it for six months ago.

This company is awesome!!!! They have a unique business philosophy of getting paid only if their work brings in results-love it!!!! And results they brought it. They staged the entire home and it looked awesome for the photos and we were pending that first weekend! Quick to respond, open for discussion, worked according to schedule- a wonderful experience and would work with them again in a second!
