White Bear Meadery

Hands down one of the tastiest drinks. I was introduced to mead through this place. Yes, it is expensive. However, it is expertly created and worth the cost. Sip and savor. Josh does an amazing job and is over the moon passionate about his craft.

They had 18 different types of mead the day we were there. All of the mead we tried we loved. Owner was great, very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. One of our new favorite places. We had a wonderful time and had to take some to go when we left.

We went and sampled a few and ended up buying a couple bottles. There was a huge difference in taste from draft to bottle. Bottled it tasted even better. Freya was my favorite.

Awesome place! Delicious drinks! Definitely worth a try if you have never had mead before. You will not be disappointed.

The outside isn't cute, that's for sure. Inside, however, they had done a pretty good job at making a small space work for them. We loved trying the mead! We ended up buying a bottle of our favorite one. The prices were reasonable on everything. The pizza they served (not house made) was sub-par, but I loved that they had GF and vegetarian options! They have a great little gift shop, too. The staff are lovely. The whole Meadery is moving to a nicer location in September, and I can't wait to see what is in store for this booming small business!
