(August 4, 2021, 3:14 pm)Nice walk not a hard walk even though we trekked like 5(made a wrong turn, lol) it would be nice if the intersections were flagged better and maybe a sign to let you know which spot was the actual Cascades, it was a little dry so no where near as much water as the pictures show, it was a good walk though.

(May 17, 2021, 11:10 am)We took our dog for a hike at Cascades Preserve on the Mountains-to-Sea Trail. There are a couple short trails through the preserve, totaling about 2 miles. The trails are easy to moderate, a few uphill and downhill sections but mostly level and easy to follow. The preserve is named for a small tributary with a series of small cascades. The water was pretty low, so would like to return in higher water levels. Overall, a nice little park and great place for an easy but enjoyable hike in nature.
