I have been using the 9000 Metcalf pharmacy for 4 years. Their service had been very dependable. All of the associates deliver what they promise. Their computerized ordering system is flawless for JIT, accurate alerts, ordering and pickup. If they don't stock a non-prescription product, they order it in, then alert me when it arrives. All pharmacy and grocery associates - from the stockers to the store manager- treat you with friendly respect, walk you to the product, and genuinely appreciate your business. And usually ask, "Is there anything else I can help you with?"
I do a lot of cooking for my church, and try to shop there as much as possible. I can procure the exact quantities required, and accurately forecast my budget without extending my costs.
I recommend the 9000 Metcalf store Number One in best overall value ANYWHERE, for a grocery/pharmacy combination...
When it comes to service, they mean business. They constantly earn the right to have my respect, praises and referrals.

Excellent pharmacy! The best I have ever been to in Overland Park. I realize that often times there is a wait in line to get a prescription but that is the case with all pharmacies. There is no reason to single this pharmacy out for that kind of problem. The pharmacists both present and past have been great and the staff have always been equally helpful. They lost some good pharmacists when Jenny and Christy no longer worked there. I have used this pharmacy exclusively for 8 or 9 years and will continue to do so unless the Walmart management makes more bonehead decisions on who should and who shouldn’t work in the pharmacy. It’s a busy pharmacy but they always take my phone calls and are always polite no matter what my question and my orders are always filled quickly. The pharmacists and staff know what they are doing and are careful when dispensing medication. I am very appreciative of that. I personally don’t mind this type of protection against taking the wrong thing or the wrong amount even if it takes extra time. They have never once messed up any of my orders. It might be Walmart but I would put these pharmacists and staff up against the staff of any other local pharmacy. And the prices are some of the lowest. This pharmacy really doesn’t get the good recognition it deserves.
