(May 2, 2018, 6:31 am)A small and unique museum that runs off donations tucked away in the heart of Fortlauderdale. I first discovered this museum a while back when my child was invited to a birthday party. ( yes you can book a party here).
One of Fort Lauderdale's original fire houses turned into a museum. You really get a fell for what it would have been like to be a fire fighter in the 1920's. As most of the building is original. But their are plenty of other things to enjoy such as the history of the progression in fighting fighters. As well as old gear and antiques in fire safety. The kids will have a fun time as their are a few activities and games for them as well. The best part is you will leave with a vast knowledge of fire safety and what it's like to put your life on the line for others.
Well worth the trip. -

(September 16, 2016, 8:10 am)Old historic view of the fort Lauderdale fire dept. The firehouse building is a historical site. The place is also certified haunted. I worked there before and I can tell you some freaky stories.
