Coastal Kayak Tours

We had an amazing tour on the Anahulu River. We are a family with younger children and Dave was an amazing tour guide. We were lucky enough to see a pod of dolphins and a few turtles. Dave even talked our very risk adversed son to try out a rope swing. It was a great time! We are so glad that we found Dave and his cute wife. I would 100% recommend Dave and Coastal Tours to anyone! Thanks again for the great time!

What a perfect way to spend our last day in Hawaii! We were looking for one last experience before we left, and Dave was able to make it work on very short notice. We met at the beach where we were greeted with the most amazing rainbow. We haven’t had a lot of experience kayaking in the ocean but felt very comfortable and safe under Dave’s guidance. We were able to watch the surfers catching waves closer than we ever have before, which was very cool. We then paddled up the river which was very peaceful and relaxing. Here we saw many turtles both in the river and sunning themselves on the shore. An awesome experience and hope to come back to do it again!!

The tour was amazing! David was very responsive and professional. We were a group of 5 people and some had no experience with kayaking and David made everyone feel safe an secure throughout the entire experience. He provided a lot of different facts about the history of the area. We chose the 2hr Sunset tour and he timed it perfectly, we had some amazing views of Haleiwa Beach and also were able to see some turtles. I definitely recommend these tours!

My family of 5 (including 3 kids, age 8, 5, and 3) had an amazing time on our kayak tour with David. He was incredibly knowledgeable, not just about the history and culture of Hawaii, but also very skilled and knowledgeable in kayaking and in paddling in the ocean. It was clear that his goal was the show us the coolest time possible while catering to the fact that we had some small kiddos. He spotted a beautiful manta ray outside the bay that we paddled around for a while, and I felt very comfortable paddling my 3 year old around the waves with his guidance. It was such a memorable part of the experience. He’s got so many fun facts too. Will do this tour every time we are in Hawaii moving forward and would recommend to anyone.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent kayak tour with Costal Kayak. David, our guide was very knowledgeable and personable. Even though we had minimal experience kayaking, we soon felt very comfortable and safe.

During our two hr journey, we saw sea turtles, "lost" beach and a variety of interesting trees and plants. In addition to our time in the bay, we enjoyed a peaceful run up a small river like waterway that emptied into the bay. David perfectly timed our return into the bay just as the sun was setting..so beautiful!

An added benefit of the tour was learning about Hawaiian history from David. During our paddle, he shared several interesting stories and facts that made our tour even more enjoyable.

This is a perfect tour for someone wanting respite from the hectic pace of Honolulu or for anyone that is looking for just a bit of tranquility.
