Great tattoo and framing shop! Looking so forward to getting an appointment soon. Very talented artists. Also I have a bunch of paintings I've completed that I want to get framed.

Moving to Walnut Grove from Oakland California and enjoying exploring my sweet little neighborhood. So happy to see a thriving tattoo and frame shop just one block from my place. The gallery, Birds on a Wire, is filled with beautiful art and silk screen prints, while Sideshow Studios boasts beautiful tattoo work and images.

I initially saw Char at a tattoo expo. That was almost ten years ago. She's done a beautiful piece on my shoulder, and a cover up on my ankle. My husband was so impressed with her work he had her do a cover up and full sleeve. Her work is amazing! The studio is clean, warm, inviting and makes one feel very comfortable.
I refuse to allow anyone to do my artwork/body art since meeting Char. Hands down, worth the wait!!!

My grandma mentioned that getting a tattoo was on her bucket list. So last year on Mother's Day my mom, grandma and I found Maddie at Side Show Studios. Maddie was great, she was patient with us while we made decisions and her work was beautiful. All three is us couldn't be happier with our tattoos! Also, the shop is nice and cozy with a warmer environment than most.

THE best shop in Sacramento! Char Hall worked on the octopus on my thigh and you can see all the love put into every detail. It's been about a year and I'm still in love with it.
