Alexi Senior Living

After returning to Illinois, I needed an Assisted Living community for my mom. I was referred to Alexi Senior Living by a close friend. I chose to walk inside and take a tour and I'm glad I did!! As I entered, I saw a lovely sitting room with a fireplace, 3 or 4 staff people, and a few residents. Everyone was beaming, which warmed my heart. I knew she would love it here. The dining room serves three meals daily with a smiley staff! It's hard to please everyone, but they have! I also wanted a home with activities to keep her occupied. Everything from games to crafts, shopping, picnics to bonfires is exciting at Alexi! Her laundry, housework, medicines, and nurse and doctor assistance is the best. She assures us that she is well cared for every time we visit. Last but not least, the Management Team! Every door is ALWAYS OPEN to answer questions, say hello, and even provide hugs!! Our issues are all important to them, which makes me happy!! They make her feel like a person, not a statistic. Thanks Alexi Senior Living!

My grandfather moved to Alexi Senior Living recently and soon discovered that his needs had changed dramatically. In a short period of time, he transitioned from Assisted Living to Memory Care. My family and I were quite satisfied with the level of assistance provided by this facility during his adjustment period. Anyone who is moving a loved one at this age, while leaving their long-term home, realizes how difficult it is for everyone involved, and I wholeheartedly recommend this facility.

The staff at Alexi Senior Living are amazing!!! They are caring and attentive. The food was delicious, and I enjoyed eating with my mother because it was fresh and homemade. The vibe is also great. The rooms are lovely and large. This place is amazing!

I'd like to express my gratitude to the staff of Alexi Senior Living for their kindness, knowledge, and desire to help my family during this difficult time. My Grandmother and Grandfather were able to recognize that this shift was not about giving up something, but about transitioning to a new part of their lives, thanks to their knowledge and Alexi's lovely community. I believe one of the owners spent time with us as a family, explaining the advantages of Memory Care and how Alexi was built with dementia patients in mind. For nearly six months, I've been looking into memory care communities for my mother. I think I've spoken with and communicated with every memory care facility in the area, and Alexi is the one I've chosen for my mother. I initially met with Elaine, the Marketing Manager, and then had the privilege of seeing the facility with the Owner, Executive Director, Nursing Director, and Elaine. I've never met a group of people who are more sensitive, loving, and caring. Alexi's history is a labor of love, and it's a place that everyone should visit. I was told by the Alexi team that I would never have to worry about my mother again. My mother's timing for the new facility's launch will be perfect. It's as if someone in Heaven designed it specifically for us.
