Basilic

This spot gives superb service as well as delightful menu. One of my favourite restaurants around town. The drinks and food came out fast and the rates are inexpensive. I recommend this place.

Everything was perfect 👌 : the food, the service, the setting and atmosphere. Basilic is located in a posh area of Newport Beach, so walking around before and after dinner was a pleasure. I invited my girlfriend there as a surprise celebration of having been together six 6⃣ fabulous months, and she absolutely loved it! She asked me why I am being so nice to her, and I told her that it's because she deserves it -- as simple as that 😊. We shared a bottle of excellent wine 🍷, appetizers and entrees -- all cooked to perfection. The chef (Renaud ?) came out to greet us in person. We left super satisfied and we'll definitely go back. Basilic is now on my list of Google Maps Favorite places 😃.

World class food at very reasonable prices. My wife and I both got entrees off the nightly/seasonal specials menu and both were profoundly delicious, truly an exceptional meal. The chefs attention to detail and decades of dedication to his craft can be tasted in every bite. If your in the area and can snag a reservation you won't be disappointed.

I frequent this unique place many times as I love the ambiance that is outline this place. The crew is extremely loyal and well trained. The service is deeply rapid. Most important, the food they prepare is outstanding. I visited more than once and I was never disappointed. The expense is modest. I recommend this restaurant to to all.
