Star Tavern

My wife went here as a kid. Went here to celebrate her brothers life. His favorite pie is the white clam pie. Probably one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Must dine in for the fresh hot clam sauce. Place is busy yet service is solid!

If you love a thin crust pizza and possibly one you could eat to yourself then this is the place to go. The crust is so thin and has a crunch like a cracker. It makes the pie itself taste absolutely incredible. First time in my life I ever tried a pesto Pizza and it was amazing. I'll be happy to go back again.

We went to lunch after doing an installation job in west Orange. One of the employee who is a friend of ours recommended Star Tavern and we sat down immediately. There is a nice waiter who seemed to be managing all of the tables. There were about 40 people eating lunch. Can’t wait to taste the pizza. Regular pizza joint atmosphere with a Bar. The bartender seemed nice from the way she handled her clients at the bar. The pizza was great. We ordered a portobello with pine nuts with dried tomatoes and we kicked up a notch with hot peppers 🌶

Went to eat at a group gathering was able to accommodate us we had pizza scampi wings someone had a salad and overall the pizza was AMAZING... the wings were interesting and if you like savory definitely up you ally... If you in the area stop by fairish prices. Definitely will return.

Excellent place. Excellent food (hard to go wrong with anything.) Very good beer selection, even if no local selections. Very nice people.

Parking is pretty tight in the lot, but there's good street parking all around.

Classic sort of place, and terrific in its own right.
