Gatekeeper's Retreat

David, our host, was so welcoming and charming. Gatekeeper’s Retreat is a lovely home with beautiful antiques and a wonderful ambience. The breakfasts were amazing and so creative. This B & B is well situated and is within walking distance to downtown Niagara On The Lake. It’s also close to many excellent restaurants and wineries.

We stayed two nights and will definitely be back again.

My mom and I had a "mother daughter" 8 night stay at this fabulous place! It was a much needed respite for myself after a long 6 years (won't get into details)...David was the best of the best so fun and inviting and put up with our silliness we felt like princesses, (can I say!!!! he used a crystal bell to summon us for breakfast) food was scrumptious and the way it was presented was amazing.
clean, clean clean clean felt like at home walking barefoot !! Had the best giggles and some unexpected guests ;)
Jason was the sweetest "tech guy" thanks for your help Jason lol Was great sitting in the backyard surrounded by dragonflies and chipmunks sipping mimosas
Wonderful vibe and energy as soon as you walk up to the front door. Loved to meet your fur babies and your friends especially "darthvader" on our last day lol too funny
