He was friendly, and he took the time required to explain clearly what he intended to do and to answer my questions. I started my dermatology experience at another practice, but I was referred to Dr. Shaffer for Mohs surgery. I'm sticking with Dermatology Consultants after this positive experience.

(October 21, 2019, 3:37 pm)I highly recommend Dr. Shaffer! Both times I've had something removed that required stitches, my scarring was almost undetectable. These were minor procedures, but, even so, I'm so impressed and grateful! I wouldn't go to anyone else for skin issues.

He discussed treatment options, performed surgical excision with minimal scaring and discussed pathology in a way that made it clear what i was and was not dealing with, so that I could make informed decisions each step of the way. He and the care team at Dermatology Consultants deliver diligent, efficient, and exceptional medical care. It's clear we are in good hands with Dr. Joseph Shaffer.
