Trish has taken care of me for the last 30 years (I've had numerous shoulder, knee and back surgeries). The major issue with Trish is that she cares...providing the best advice and therapy available. Trish is extremely knowledgeable in all things recovery. She will tell you about all kinds of body mechanics and specifics that you could do to improve your overall health. She’s great to talk to you and super personable. She’ll make sure you have a thorough understanding of what you guys went over during your session.

Dr. Trish has been my PT off and on for many years. She has always been patient, attentive, and understanding. I am now 63 and I have realized there are some changes from my early 50’s – and not for the better! As I hope to remain physically active through my “golden” years, I wanted to see Dr T not just for a sore hip but how to navigate this phase of life.

Dr. Trish was very enthusiastic that I recognized the need for “life movement” and not just fixing one part that currently hurts. She did her usual thorough exam including strength, flexibility, balance, even-ness in body (left versus right side), and overall function. We discussed what I do daily, weekly, and periodically – not just what one might think as physically active but those chores that we don’t even consider as demanding – carrying groceries, feeding the dogs, brushing our teeth, doing dishes, and all of the little things that can add up to pain in our bodies if our mechanics are wrong.

Then Dr. Trish demonstrated and guided me through proper body postures for various activities; added some core strength exercises – which is key to mobile longevity; and provided stretching and balancing movements. We even worked on effective ways of getting down and up off the floor safely.

Dr. Trish knows that I, like most people, lead a busy life and so all her plans are designed to add more “body parts” worked so less exercises to do. She also understands that sometimes they need to be tailored to the individual, so she always has several creative alternatives. Best of all, she has taught me that it is never too late to start and you are never too young to learn good body mechanics for life.
