Govans Elementary School

My son has come a long way. I'm grateful to the teachers who have been instrumental in getting him into his next phase moving forward as well as helping me with things that I can do at home to keep my son on track. I can't give enough thanks to the ladies in the cafeteria and some of the other staff,they too have helped my son build on his independence with just enough hugs and words of encouragement to help him be excited about going to school! I'm extremely enthused about my son and granddaughter being able to call themselves Dragons!..GO GOVANS....WHOA!

I am very excited about Govans Elementary, one of the best elementary schools in the city becoming a charter school.
The Baltimore Curriculum Project (BCP) and Govans Elementary have formed Govans Elementary School/BCP Charter School.
Thanks to Govans staff, parents and partnering community for this exciting move forward.

Great school, my 6 year old has learned so much and really loves the staff. I'm excited about the up coming year my son will also be attending the school.. Mrs. Nemeth and Mrs. Gobble thank you for a job well done. Thank you Govans as a whole for being supportive. The lady's in the front office are wonderful. Thank you again if I could have given more stars I would. :)
