Dr. Sam, as he is called was a wonderful surprise. My experience today, is what a physician visit should be. The staff was kind and up-lifting. Dr. Sam listened to me like an old friend. He addressed all of my concerns and medications. I haven't seen another doctor like him since leaving Texas 10 years ago. Finally!

My mom, Margaret Marshall, was a patient of Dr. Sam's for years when he practiced in Lebanon Mo. When he left Lebanon, I was able to persuade her to move closer to me in Oregon. If he had stayed, I doubt if she would have left because she values him so much as a friend as well as a doctor. Mom is now 102 and healthy--this should tell you the level of care and compassion he provides! Dr. Sam, she sends you her love and eternal thanks for your friendship and care. I suspect her current doctor is tired of hearing all about you and how wonderful you are. Lebanon's loss is Belton's gain! We love you, Dr. Sam.

Dr. Sam is an excellent provider, at my age 60 plus, I have been to several providers and big hospitals in the Kansas City area. I had to try something new I was down and out and discouraged at the medical community. I felt like I was a piece of meat going to a meat processing center. NEXT, Next, Next. No one would listen to me. But my body was telling me something different. I went to a local ER for some meds on a Thursday and the ER personnel said locate a PCP. I called on Friday and I had an appointment on a Monday. (PDQ). I told Dr. Sam my problems and a lab test were conducted which showed I was very deficient in Vitamin D (way below the 30 threshold). A prescription was written and above all I feel so much better and motivated. One thing above all, is that Dr. Sam TOOK HIS TIME and LISTENED to me. I am elated to be under his care and you would to.

Dr Sam Assafeen is the BEST Doctor I've ever had! He truly cares about his patients!! He spends time explaining diagnoses to me as well as treatment options. He is a very intelligent, knowledgeable internist!!! I can't say enough positive things about Dr Sam...I don't have enough words. On my first visit to him he found two abnormal blood tests that were easily treated with medications which had not been found by my previous doctor. I feel much better after being under his treatment the past 7 years.
