Memory Lane Cottage

I had to move my step mother in here a little over a year ago because at her age and with her memory loss it was dangerous for her to keep living alone and we just weren't in a position to have her live with us for an extended period.

After checking out many options, we decided on Memory Lane Cottage and I'm glad that we did. She's getting excellent care from an attentive staff. We didn't have a problem with the former management at all but I've noticed some negative comments below about them. I will say however that they have a new director named Kelly and several new heads of the departments all of which seem to be excellent at their jobs. I've seen them go above and beyond expectations many times.

I have visited many ALFs, and was very impressed with the cleanliness of this community. The residents seemed very content, and there was a lot of support from family members. The Director of Nursing is really sweet. They are not having nursing shortage like everyone else, because the staff there really DO love their jobs.

Wonderful, small memory care! Memory lane cottage has a real home-like atmosphere for their residents. Clean facility. Very caring and compassionate administrator who understands how to care for dementia patients. Staff is great and I would recommend anyone to work there as well as put a loved one in their care!

Working at The Cottage was a wonderful experience. I had the best bosses, The CEOs, COO, he was the best and a great mentor and the Administrator, she made everyone felt loved regardless of who you were.
The staff was the best, they were all caring and compassionate. Yes, as with every where else, there is going to be one or two bad apples that will try to spoil the rest. But they make up the team of what not do and helps to steer the facility in the right direction. The building was thought out and built specifically for memory care. Every space both in door and out door was beautifully designed to meet the needs of the residents. I will definitely recommend The Cottage to anyone that is looking for a home for there love ones.
