I mentioned to my loved ones that Dr. Mayer was one of the best doctors that I have encountered. He read my Test Results, before meeting with me. He listened to my concerns, explained things well enough for me to understand, and requested additional tests to get my current status. He was extremely thorough and professional. His personality was pleasant and comforting. He had all of the qualities that I would look for in a doctor.

With extreme patience and interest, Dr. Mayer listened to my symptoms, was prepared as he reviewed my MRI prior to my 1st consultation and took the time to thougerly explain my options. Dr. Mayer and his staff were amazing! This week was a whirlwind for me. I had horrible sciatica pain in both legs that came on fast. I was in the ER on a Thursday due to the pain. I called their office on Friday and Dr. Mayer saw me on Monday at noon. He did an assessment and ordered a stat MRI. I went in for the MRI on Tuesday evening. By Wednesday early afternoon the nurse Lisa A. called me to schedule a bilateral transforaminal lumbar epidural steroid injections at 7:45am the next day. Dr. Mayer was very kind, professional, and had great communication during every part of the process! I am a teacher and he answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable. His calm demeanor helped ease my anxiety through the shots procedure. I was not just a number to him, you could tell he really wants to help and cares about his patients!! He and his team will be my spine specialist clinic for life. Highly recommend him and his team!!
