David C. Kwee, MD, MS

Dr Kwee is an absolute gem of a pediatrician. We've been going to him since our first child was born nearly 5 years ago. He is so engaging and thorough when it comes to the appointments and is very responsive on MyChart if you have concerns. Even after moving 20+ minutes away from the office we still take the kiddos to see Dr Kwee.

I just love how he is with all of my children he is by far the best physician ever. Very knowledgeable an also shows concerns when needed goes above and beyond for all his patients. I just love him we all do!

Dr. Kwee was clearly meant to be a pediatrician. He takes his time to complete a thorough examination all while playing silly games or voices with our child to keep her calm and interested. I also appreciate that he actually explains things to us and takes time to listen to our concerns and answer questions without being dismissive or brush us off as something to not worry about. I completely agree with the previous comments about his amazing bedside manner and have been completely happy with our experience at UNC Southpoint Pediatrics!

I love him! He is very thorough and makes sure to investigate all concerns. He also has really great communication with my kid who is young and visiting the doctor can be scary. He has been my son's doctor since he was born, and will continue to be as long as he's working. HE'S THE BEST!

My wife and I highly recommend Dr. Kwee: he is a highly skilled pediatrician and a most humble man. He was able to accurately diagnose the arterial septal defect in my son's heart just by listening to my son's heartbeat and referred us to an appropriate cardiologist. His ability for early detection helped us pave the way for proper treatment for my son. I would give him more than five stars if that was possible!
