Starfish-Laguna Beach

A great choice for Asian fusion dishes. Quality and flavor, taste is great and our friends loved it too. Service needs to be improved upon. We had to wait for a dish and drink for over 40 minutes. I guess it was just a glitch since the rest of the service was acceptable.

Service was outstanding. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, she really set a high bar. The food service was fast. On a date we shared two sushi rolls and dumplings, which was plenty of food for two. Food was quite good. The atmosphere was cozy and perfect for a date night. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend Starfish! Every dish we ordered was delicious, definitely try the Chili fire wontons. The sushi rolls we had were quite good as well.

Usually when you see a restaurant with Pan Asian classics, it means all their dishes are mediocre. But this place is the excpetion. I have been there with my wife about 6 times and have tried so many different items. I have to say all have been perfect. The price is reasonable and the staff is A++++++. I can't imagine someone not liking this place. It's in a large shopping complex across the street from the Montage Resort. Worth a try! Great people!!
