Touching Hearts was there when I needed them most to care for my mother in the final 2 ½ years of her life. Their caregivers were always competent, pleasant and professional. In fact, mom referred to them as her angels. From the start, Touching Hearts proactively matched their personnel traits with both my mother’s personality as well as her needs. Touching Hearts, Flavio and his team were exceptional. Our family had experience with a lot of private aide companies over the last few years who we had retained to care for our grandmother who was in her 90’s and suffering from severe dementia and were always disappointed with the level of care and responsiveness. We had all but lost hope that there were any qualified aide companies out there that could adequately care for an elderly dementia/Alzheimer’s patient when we found Touching Hearts. They were a true godsend. They cared- really cared- about my grandmother’s well-being in all respects. Not only did they take thorough and delicate care of her daily needs (which was not easy given her dementia which caused her to be verbally and physically aggressive on occasion), but after the pandemic started, they updated us regularly on her medical care, physical condition and alerted us to changes in her condition. They were our eyes when we couldn’t be there and were like surrogate family members to her when we were not permitted to visit. Flavio and his team were always available to address our questions, offered solutions every time- and most importantly, they followed through. I cannot say enough good things about them. Do not hesitate in choosing them for your family member.

We were referred to Touching Hearts at Home and my sisters and I are glad we were. Our mom was diagnosed in January with Alzheimer’s and we needed some help a few days a week. Our mom loves her caregiver, Marissa. Marissa does some light cleanup, helps with moms pets, does her laundry, makes sure she has a healthy lunch and still finds time to play a game of scrabble with mom!
