1919 Lanzhou Beef Noodle

Booked this hotel for one night for me, my parents, and my two babies. This hotel was so nice, so clean, and in a good location. When you walk in the lobby is beautiful, and the front desk worker was so friendly and helpful. We got to our room and it was super clean and looked new. The beds were so soft and comfy we slept great. This morning we went down to have breakfast and again it was nice and clean and they had so many options eggs, potatoes, sausage, waffles, pastries, toast, bagels, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, coffee, juices, milk, and water. Best hotel breakfast I’ve had in a long time. We checked out this morning and we’re met with another friendly front desk agent. I will definitely be staying here again when we come this way. The only negative thing I can say is the elevator is currently broken but they let me know ahead of time and gave me a 10% discount since we were on the second floor so I’m happy with that. It was a 10/10 for me!

From valet to kitchen staff and ESPECIALLY front desk managers: everyone was amazing! The rooms were clean and "lit" as our kids said, which made the trip all that more special.

It's a small restaurant with friendly staff. The handmade Noodle 🍜 is super high quality, love it. You won't go wrong on any noodle here.

Fresh pulled noodles, with options for thin/thick/round or flat noodles. Any of the options go well with the flavorful beef broth. For those who like a bit of spice, the medium level seems perfect. Have not tried other entrees, but they all look apertizing. Pricing is comparable to other noodle house. Overall pleasant experience and would revisit.

Loved their pickle cabbage beef noodle soup, from the broth to the noodles and the meat, so delicious. Don’t miss out the sides, potato salad was my all time favorite (So good) The only issue I had was the beancurd, it had some weird funny soapy taste. Not so sure what really happened in the kitchen, but wish the owner could read this and resolve the issue. Besides that, everything was good.

This place does not look like much as you try to find it from the parking lot but it is one of the best hole-in-the-wall hand tossed noodles I've tried!!
The place is small and minimalistic, the menu is also small as in they only have a few options. However, the flavor you get in each bowl is freakin' delicious! They hand toss the noodles right in front of you, and (depending on the spice level you pick) the broth brings it all together. Even in a triple digits hot summer day these noodles in their delicious broth make everything better.

The boyf and I were so surprised this little joint could be so awesome. Its over an hour drive for us but we are definitely coming back.

No matter how good the beef is here, and these are decent cuts for such an economical price point, the joy from a bowl is almost purely from these springy noodles. While a master might not approve of some noodles being imperfect or different sizes, it is somehow comforting to see directly how hand made each and every one in your bowl is, these noodles come nowhere near any machines.
