Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium

This is a super nice zoo with a wide variety of animals to see. The day we where there, the parking lot was full, but the zoo didn't feel crowded at all. There's a wonderful space for younger ones to splash around or feed some goats. Also, there are lots of hands on opportunities on a number of exhibits. The keepers seem to be very friendly and knowledgeable. It was reasonably priced. I recommend this zoo to anyone.

Good zoo to spend a slow paced afternoon. It's small so you can take your time. They weren't at 100% when we went so there wasn't any elbow-to-elbow spots. Animals look very well taken care of. The caretaker of the Asian elephant was pretty informative & nice taking all kinds of random questions. I will go back soon. Highly recommend for a small family to spend a short afternoon without crowds.

Excellent zoo with a good variety of animals and concessions. Most enclosures have multiple viewing areas so your very likely to see animals in all the pens. Lots of parking and everything is easily accessible for strollers or wheelchairs. The aquarium has a large number of exhibits with many underwater viewing areas. Lots of green space to relax during your visit. Areas are well marked and a variety of paths allows you to flow through the zoo in many different ways. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and show a real passion for the animals.

I love Point Defiance Zoo! There aquariums are breathtaking and beautiful. So many wonderful animals to look at and learn about. I find that the animals have amazing habitats! The zoo does amazing work for endangered species! I highly suggest talking you kids and adults will have a great time too! I go once a year!
