Stopped by to look at hand guns ....purchased a nice 9mm gun...staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. If you haven't shopped here, suggest you take the time.

I stopped by to look for ammo. Chatted briefly with the owner. He was friendly and seemed genuinely happy I came in, which is nice.

Hi, I just want to apologize for being a jerk, in regards to your voice mail. You guys are the friendliest folks in this business.
I'm just frustrated for not being able to get 9mm ammo, and should have never taken it out on you guys.
I just wish I could find some. I know Shady oaks gun range has target ammo for $14.00, but is just way too far to go. They're actually cheaper than everyone, but you have to use them in their range.

I've had a few dealings with the people at this location and every single time it has been a positive and wonderful experience. They are friendly, they don't try to over charge you as all the prices are fair, and below what some of the competitors are charging. Also they don't charge for FFL Transfers. I will definitely make Gun Gear my sole source for firearms purchases locally.

Concerning bad reviews below: In these times it is very difficult to obtain or have certain product. The owners always try and give the best time possible when a product will come in, to include answering phone calls/emails. Its very hard when you have some customers that expect product just because you own a gun store and never take the time to reflect in what times were are in and the difficulty to receive certain merchandise . Those who gave bad reviews below are the ones who make the gun industry undesirable and difficult, especially the certain individuals below. They were very rude and demanding when times are out of the owners control. All I know the owners are never rude and always bend over backwards to help in any way. When an individual starts writing a bad review they should reflect on how they treat others and how the experience started and went bad. All I know at Gungear they are always professional and put their customer first. Its a great place to shop, great knowledge and best prices in central Texas.
