Sunshine Village Memory Care

Sunshine Village has the most compassionate, caring and experienced Staff! They truly care that their residents are happy, content and healthy. We had a lot of things that needed to happen to get my folks here from out of state, the staff was so supportive, always offering to help along the way! It is very comforting having our loved ones here!

I can’t recommend Sunshine Village enough! I was looking to move my mother from another AL facility where the managers were unreasonable, unprofessional and illegal. I had to move her quickly, but I was extremely worried about what the current availability in other AL facilities around my area. I was so happy to hear Sunshine Village had availability! I first heard of them 10 years ago from a co-worker that had her mother and mother-in-law there. She gushed every time she spoke about Sunshine Village. I knew back then it was a special place. Prior to move-in, Judy and the rest of the staff made sure everything went through smoothly. I was so amazed of their kindness, dedication and their hearts. I feel so much better knowing that my mom is being well cared for and loved. She is so happy there and so am I.

I have worked at Sunshine Village almost 3 years as a contracted worker in the salon. The office staff is amazing. The activities folks are creative, happy, helpful, and fun. They always keep the residents engaged in something. From live music, bingo, food, arts and crafts, and many other things. The med techs, RN's, and caregivers are super special, kind people, with lots of compassion. They are always checking on residents and keeping an eye on what is best for them, and if there are any changes. The outside folks that come in are also fantastic, from doctors to physical therapist. I know that the head staff meets frequently to discuss residents and their needs, and they keep up on each and every person. I hope I never have to place my parents in a home, BUT if I had to.... THIS WOULD BE THE PLACE! Just pure AWESOMENESS!
