  Brilliant cake, I had orange and almond and it was delicious. £7 for a coffee and cake though so won't be able to go very often

  Pros.
  Spot. Sofas. Mood. Inside tables are a gem!
  
  Cons.
  Wasps in the courtyard. Prices. Generally slow service.
  
  Will return though as the mood and design wins over the small issues.

  As someone who is gluten free by necessity (coeliac disease) and not choice, it is so nice to go somewhere where ALL the cakes are gluten free (BUT tasty enough that non-GF people would enjoy them!) so there is choice beyond just a chocolate brownie.
  
  The cakes are homemade but made off site by a baker with a certified gluten free kitchen, which again, is so much nicer than a prepackaged cake that is the usual offering.
  
  They also do scones (GF and non-GF) and savouries - quiches etc, but we jumped straight to cake!
  
  We chose an orange & fig, and lavender & blueberry cake and split them between us with a pot of Darjeeling tea, all enjoyed in the courtyard. Lovely!
